1. What we collect

Account data: name, email, role (student/teacher), and a salted hash of your password — never the password itself.

Learning data: the code you write and submit, test outcomes, execution traces produced by NeonFlow, and batch membership.

Technical data: basic logs needed to keep the service running. We do not sell personal data, ever.

2. How we use it

To run your code and visualize it, grade submissions, show teachers their students' progress, cache execution traces so repeated runs are instant, and improve the platform. Anonymised, aggregated traces may be used to improve trace quality for AI-assisted languages.

3. Payments

Premium payments are handled by Razorpay (India) or Dodo Payments (international). Card and banking details go directly to them and never touch Flame's servers; we receive only a payment confirmation and order reference.

4. Sharing

Within a batch, your teacher sees your submissions and performance. Service providers we rely on (database hosting, sandboxed code execution, AI tracing) process data only to provide the service. We disclose data if the law requires it.

5. Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account removes your personal data; anonymised execution traces (not linked to you) may persist in caches.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed with scrypt and unique salts. User code runs in isolated sandboxes. Secrets and API keys are stored server-side only.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time — email plesim18@gmail.com. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (GDPR, DPDP), we honour those requests within the statutory window.

8. Children

Flame is intended for university and college students. Institutional deployments for younger learners require the institution to obtain any consents its law demands.

9. Changes

We will announce material changes to this policy in-app before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated policy.
